+1!

I thought it would be weird to go to school with older students, but if they're all like you I guess it'll be ok.

I recently met His Dudeliness when he was at Nova. Pretty cool guy, I must say. Wouldn't mind taking him under my wing if he chooses to attend. lol

We had an older female in her 40s start with us, but I haven't seen her since the 2nd or 3rd week.... can only mean that she dropped out. 🙁

I'm nearly speechless. A very flattering comment indeed!

Edit: c'mon you guys, I'm gonna cry here. Lol

Or she's a super-gunner! Obviously nothing like being in your 40s, but my girlfriend had classmates who were turning 30 during M1. I think they're still going strong.

I'll hopefully have the opportunity to meet dudeliness at AZCOM next week. I kind of scheduled my flights around his so I could carpool (since I'm 24 and car rental = rip off).. Hopefully that still works out.

No worries bro, I'll be there for sure. Us old people are steady and unchanging, well, except for that 40 yr old in neurolax's class. 😉

Was in my class... Haven't seen her in three weeks and haven't seen her in any society meetings or exams. +pity+

By the way OP. Just go to school and don't worry about tuition too much. Don't try to live like a king until you're out of debt and you'll be fine.
(putting thread back in track 😉)

I'm disappointed that we weren't able to meet when you were here. Tough luck 👎

Meh, screw the topic.
Maybe MedPR and I will both go to Nova and you can take us both under your wing. That would be cool.

I only learned C3,4,5 keeps the diaphram alive. I cant wait to learn cool ones

12 cranial nerves sensory/motor/both (learned this one in my A&P class).

Some say marry money but my brother says big boobs matter most.

Is there an indian girl named Jasmine in your group? She was one of my tour guide M1s. Other guy was named Trevine.

Same. Maybe I'll get accepted and matriculate!

There are so many of us. Haven't met Jasmine yet, but she could very well be in my class lol.

Trevine is a cool guy. 👍 He is in my class. I'll have to tell him he is famous on SDN now.

Also a mnemonic for things that pass through the supraorbital fissure is lucious french sluts talk naked in anticipation of sex.

You forgot the Accessory nerve, buddy. Unless one of those S stands for spinal accessory...

Now you're both toying with my emotions.

I think you might need to review your anatomy 😀

Some: CN I Olfactory, Sensory
say: CN II, Optic Sensory
marry: CN III, Oculomotor Motor
money: CN IV, Trochlear, Motor
but: CN V, Trigeminal, Both (sensory & motor)
my: CN VI, Abducens, Motor
brother: CN VII, Facial, Both
says: CN VIII, Vestibulocochlear, Sensory
big: CN IX, Glossopharyngeal, Both
boobs: CN X, Vagus, Both
matter CN XI, Spinal Accessory, Motor
most: CN XII, Hypoglossal, Motor

Another good one is "Lucious french sluts talk naked in anticipation of sex" for the nerves that pass through the supraorbital fissure.
Lacrimal, frontal, trochlear, superior branch of oculomotor, nasocilliary, inferior oculomotor, abducens, opthalmic veins, sympathetics.

In my defense, I didn't realize that the mnemonic was for sensory/motor/both 😀 I only looked at CNXI because that's the only cranial nerve that is applicable for what I'm studying... innervating the trapezius and the sternocleidomastoid. I didn't see an S for the 11th slot. AND... we don't do head/neck until later in the semester 😀

Anyways, I saved your mnemonic to a Word doc for when I get there. Thanks!!
