Hi for those of us who are applyed late I was hoping those who applied early could shed some light on the process. Specifically, I'm wondering about how long it took once you were verified to receive secondaries, rejection letters, interview invites, etc. I'm sure many of us would be interested in this info for any school, but I am especially interested in:
1. U Mich
2. Mich State
3. Wayne State
4. Northwestern
5. U Chicago (after secondary)
6. Einstein
7. Tufts
8. U Penn (after secondary)
9. Stanford
Hey thanks in advance for all your help! For others who want to add to the list feel free 😀

I'm not sure how you want this, but these are some of the schools with which I have experience:

U Mich: was sent the LOR and secondary request immediately. Took about 2-3 weeks to receive an interview invite. (Note: superstar applicants get the interview invite immediately off of the info on their AMCAS app!)

UChicago: file complete late August, heard back within 1-2 weeks for an interview

Einstein: file complete late July, heard back late August/Sept for an interview

I am still waiting on Penn, NW, Stanford.. no word either way yet and those files were complete in August.

edited to add: I was verified immediately in early June, so transmission took place mid-July.

Thanks Lux for the very helpful response. I just got verfied this week so am hoping to get some more secondaries soon. Sounds like hopefully they will arrive in the next few weeks. Good luck on your interviews and the rest of this crazy process. Sounds like you are a good applicant - lots of interviews at great schools! Congrats!😀

By the way what's the difference between verified and transmitted? Don't they transmit right away once you're verified?? Man AAMC has way too many steps to try to buy them extra time. It's pretty ridiculous huh!?! 10 days to receive a transcript! 4-6 weeks to verify! And now transmit!?!

Once you're verified, they should automatically transmit your application to the schools you designated. Log on to AMCAS and click on "Print Application." The pop up window should show all your schools and transmission dates. I hear that sometimes your info is transmitted for some schools even though the transmission date is not updates. The best thing to do if you're in question is to just call the individual schools.
