Turnaround on DAT scores

Hello from the bowels of my study crypt! How long does it take the schools to get your scores once you take the DAT? I'm taking it next week, and the deadline for one of my schools is November 1st. They already have my complete appplication and all they are waiting on are my scores. I hope the ADA works faster that the AASDAS. They took six weeks to process my application! Apprehensive, but I really don't have time to worry in the midst of all the studying!

i know how you feel buddy! but don't stress. seriously, there's nothing you can do about aadsas and their slow ass. ask justletmein, i think his schools received the DAT scores in about a week after his test! keep us updated! i'm curious to know as well...

Took my DAT on Sept 30th and UoP received my scores and began to review my file on 10/7...so I would say a week. However, only UoP has acknowledged receipt of my scores. Other schools may be backed up and delayed in processing all of their apps. You say Nov. 1st deadlines...is that for submission of app to AADSAS or completion of file with school?

It reads AASDAS application deadline, so your guess is as good as mine. I'm assuming it means they have your complete AASDAS application (including DAT scores). Their supplemental isn't due until December 1st. Sounds like I will be allright as long as they have received the scores by November 1st, and it looks like that should only take about a week (it's on the computer, for heavens sake, what are they having to do? push a few buttons? They already know where the scores are being sent). Don't even get me started on the AASDAS racket!

If you find that you will be cutting the deadline close in regards to your DAT scores reaching the schools, you can always fax them a copy of the print-out that they give you at the prometric center when you finish your test. 9 out of 11 schools that I applied to said that they would accept an unofficial copy to complete my file so that it could move on to the review panel for interviews, with the understanding that they must recieve an official copy before you are accepted. If it's going to be close call your schools and see if they will accept a fax, I would.

I had actually thought about that (I mean, it's not like you are going to falsify your scores - they will be getting them eventually!), and I feel better now that I know that it's a possibility. I'll give them a call. Thanks!
