I was curious to know if any of the current TUSPM students can provide insight into what the typical first year schedule is. Particularly what time classes start and end, what the difficulty level of the courses are ie. what was the toughest class? Also, are all lectures video captured and available on the internet for viewing? If so what is the video/sound quality? Finally, what is the format of the lectures, powerpoint? whiteboard? etc. Do professors post material (ie. slides, handouts) online prior to class? Thanks for your responses in advance.

Schedule:
Most days, class is generally scheduled from 9 or 10 am to 4 pm. There is a lunch break from noon to 1 pm. The 1 - 4 pm class generally lasts til 3pm at the latest. Sometimes you get Friday off.

Toughness:
The first semester, you take Neuroscience, Physiology, Histology / Embryology, and Anatomy. Histo and Anatomy are the toughest, where as the other two are much easier (and worth less credit wise).

Availability of Materials:
Every class except for Anatomy has powerpoint slides (posted before class) that the professors go over in class. There is video capture which is of perfect quality (you see the slides and hear the professors). Anatomy is a little different. Personally, I believe the anatomy program at Temple is horrible. They provide us with dense word documents that seem like they were written in the 1920s. The lectures are not class captured and the slides are not provided (however, they are easily attainable from older students).
