The amnion forms before the chorion which forms before the placenta, is that correct?

If that is, why is it that if you split as an early blastocyst, you will have separate amnions but common chorions and placentas? If the placenta and chorion happen later than the amnion, it would make sense that you would have similar amnions then the split would happen then independent chorions and placentas? Im very confused would appreciate some insight!

I'm not sure what the copyright rules are so I don't want to quote the entire page, but Crush Step 1 has an excellent section on this topic. Good luck.

I'm pretty sure that quoting text from a good resource plus giving credit to that resource is perfectly legal and not against any copyright laws, otherwise all medical journals that have ever quoted a piece of text would be breaking copyright rules.

If you know the answer, then please write it here and give credit to the source where you found the info so that the rest of us could also understand the answer to the OP's question. Otherwise don't be lazy and says there's a page in a book that has that information you're looking for. I could say that First Aid or Kaplan has sections that answer almost every post asking specific USMLE questions, but that's not the point of these threads, is it?

You should rethink how you phrase your requests when you are asking for help.

What I'm "requesting" is the actual purpose of this forum. So again, don't be lazy because your answer was pointless. If everyone left a comment like yours along the lines of "the answer is in a page in crush step 1," then this forum wouldn't be very useful, would it?

So again, don't be lazy
Lazy would be not digging as hard as you could to find an answer on your own before resorting to this forum only if you absolutely couldn't find it.

I was ready to post the screenshot of the page, pending it wouldn't break any rules, until you decided to comment in the manner you did. In any case, I've already helped the OP. As for you, good luck finding what you're looking for.

I'm not looking for the answer to the op's question (and certainly not from you) so I'm not sure why you keep suggesting that you're somehow withholding something valuable from me in particular when I was telling you to post it for everyone else on the forum to know the answer.

This is a forum- learn to contribute properly.

Says the guy who entered a thread to complain about someone else not contributing yet hasn't contributed to the thread himself.

Lead by example next time and help the poor OP out instead of wasting your time criticizing someone else who only refrained from contributing because they were naive as to whether or not their post would be against the rules. Show some respect to people you don't know, especially when you're seemingly a peon on this forum.

Reply if you want, but don't expect me to respond to you again.

EDIT (what I sent the OP):
