1. Company running a trial and offers the doctor money if he refers patients; the trial has been shown to improve quality of life. What is affected?

Some of the answer choices were autonomy, beneficence, and confidentiality. Don't remember the rest of the choices.

2. 50 year old man has had recurrent episodes of hitting his wife while he is sleeping without knowing it, like some sort of movement problem. What is he at increased risk for?

Answer choices: Huntingtons, OCD, Parkinsons, Bipolar disorder, Schizophrenia

I don't know the source, got them from another forum.

Probably beneficience. In this case, if you feel that the patient can benefit from the drug, you would still refer for the trial, especially if it is phase 2 or higher and has shown some efficacy in early studies. Of course you would inform your patient that a referral fee was offered and that you refused the offer.

Out of all the answer choices, I'd reason that huntington's would be the most plausible. OCD usually has to do with compulsive behaviors to reduce an obsession, which can't occur during sleep. Parkinson's is more rigid than anything. Man isn't hearing voices or showing signs of mania so BPD and Schizophrenia are less likely.
