I'll be applying next cycle. I'd like to reap the advantages of applying early, so I want to submit on June 1st, 2010.

With that in mind, here are my two questions:

  • Since official DAT results take 3-4 weeks to be processed, would it be best to take the DAT by May 1st? Or could I get away with taking it a couple weeks later since AADSAS takes takes 4-8 weeks to be process my application anyway? (Remember, I want to submit as soon as mortally possible! :meanie:)

  • Are your official DAT scores reported to AADSAS or must you enter them yourself?
Thank you! 🙂

you might want to look into taking the dat a few months before the time the app opens, in case you end up needing to retake it. and if you'll read a lot of the threads on the regular predent forum, you'll see that for those people that submitted within the first week or so, their stuff was sent out in like 3 weeks.

and your dat scores don't go through aadsas.

Good to know. Thank you!

So I guess as long as my DAT has been officially graded and reported to the schools by the time my application is shipped out by AADSAS, I should be okay, right?

I can't believe you receive your grade directly upon completion... I don't think I'm going to look!
