The DAT kaplan book says the Rydberg constant is 2.18 x 10 ^-18 J / electron, yet some textbooks ans and online say the rydberg constant is 1.0977 × 10^7 per meter. I don't get it, which one is it?

RH is 1.0977 × 10^7 but when you use the 1/λ = E/hc formula you will have hc X RH (c and h are constants too)that will be 2.18 x 10 ^-18 J. I don't think you need to know that kind deep. good luck 👍
