Tylenol with codeine

Give her 8 tabs qid prn. That is the ONLY effective dose for that condition. You may want to consider addind risperidone to her current regimen (the bird of course)

I had a patient who needed a prescription of Tylenol with Codeine because her bird had a cough. (seriously) What dose should I prescribe.

What exactly will the acetaminophen be doing for the bird's cough?

I seriously am not joking. The patient had gotten a few previous prescriptions of tylenol #3 or 4's, and was wondering if she could get some tylenol with codeine for her bird, which apparently had a cough. I thought it was a reasonable request.

I need to come see you as my "bird" needs oxycodone for his sore elbow. He has gotten previous prescriptions of OxyContin 40mg or 80 mg. It is a reasonable request... No?

haha... your birds elbow-

The best way to get the dose down is in the injected worm delivery system. You have to be careful with mother birds though. You don't want them to regurgitate it back up for their babies. The dose is way too high for the little chicks.

How bout doing the legal thing and sending the pt. and her bird to a vet? You're not allowed to prescribe for animals.
