Type of chemistry math in DAT?

no calculator, you should know how to work in scientific notation and reduce. The numbers will be pretty so you should't worry about a calculator. The issue is knowing how to set up the program correctly.
 
no calculator in the chem part just a periodic table

in the Quantitative reasoning section there is a calculator and it is the basic one I hear its crappy

For my exam, the answer choices were usually in the "set-up" version. However, you need to know HOW to set up the problem, and sometimes you will need to do some simplifying, which involves basic operations with scientific notation, so make sure you practice and are comfortable with that.
 
Took mine today and one of the calculations problems was harder than all the QR combined. Each answer choice was like .04563, .04564, .04565, etc. other than that everything else was easy to calculate. Guess I should've paid more attention to dividing decimals in 7th grade haha.
