I just caught a typo on a paragraph that I cut-and-pasted to almost every application I filled out. The typo is "....where I studied the body's level HDL". Obviously, I forgot the word "of" before HDL. Does anyone know how this will effect my chances??? My stats are 30P MCAT with a 3.9 GPA. 😳

I wouldn't worry about it. Typos happen. I made a few on secondaries and still received interviews at those schools.

yeah, i also made a similar typo on a few secondaries (i also cut and pasted) but still have been interviewed at a couple of those schools. No acceptances from them, though....

As long as you don't put something like "X is my dream school!" when applying to Y, you should be OK. Don't sweat it.

Don't they only spend like two minutes reading your essays anyways? I doubt that they would catch such a small error.

No ****, I could tell my interviewer did not even read my statement.
