Hey for you guys w/ U michigan acceptances... do u mind sharing when your interview date was and when you got accepted? (and how were u notified?) i was just curious b/c i heard if you are going to get accepted there, they notify you pretty quickly.. but when they take longer it usually means wait list or not accepted. (although that could totally be wrong) so i was just wondering. thanks ! 🙂

is that the general trend w/ schools, if youre going to get accepted you pretty much know quicker and if you are getting WL they take longer to get back to you, or is that a load of bollix? thanx

hey, i was interviewed 9/24 and found out I was accepted on 10/15 (actually 10/14 9:00 PM PST) by email. But I don't think there's much of a correlation between getting accepted and finding out soon after your interview at most schools

I received the acceptance email the day after my interview. Saturday morning. Don't know how they decided so fast...

I interviewed on Dec. 3rd, and I received the acceptance e-mail on Dec. 5th.

Nov 19. A fellow interviewee told me she knew someone who was accepted a few hours after her interviews via phone.

wow i interveiwed 19 nov as well and still no word, i was assuming bc of thanksgiving and all but now i see that its just not lookin good for me 🙁

Interviewed 10/29, accepted 10/30 (by e-mail). Quick turnover!

when i was there for interview in november, someone asked what happens after the interview - ie. do they look at the whole file again, etc. the guy from admissions told us it pretty much depends on your interview and they dont look over everything again. (ok also he told them this right before the group was going to their interview. no pressure!) interviewers fill out an online eval form, so if you really blew them away, you could get accepted quickly.
