U of Michigan question

I was just wondering if anyone knows how strict U of Michigan is on their pre reqs... especially their 3 credits of Sociology requirement? I've already graduated and didn't take sociology...should I email them and tell them I will take it next semester and then just sign up as a non-degree seeking student and take it?

yes, you should definitely tell them of your plan to take it. it's okay if you haven't finished all your prereqs yet. when i applied i had 3 prereqs i hadn't finished yet and i was fine. the only thing is you must finish all the prereqs by the end of the summer before class starts.

You can get all the way to an acceptance without fulfilling the requirement, but it must be completed before starting there in the fall.
