Hello,
Looking to hear from the 2015 or 2014 accepted class to the University of Minnesota or Wisconsin programs? I'm a non-traditional student returning to pursue my Vet degree at the ripe ol' age of 37! I'm curious to see the acceptance stats of individuals who got into the above programs, especially non-traditional students.
I am a WI resident but I've read that U of Minn has a tuition reprocity agreement with WI students. You don't get In-State acceptance criteria but if you do get in, you get In-State tuition. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks

Nope. There is tuition reciprocity for undergraduate, but not vet school.

I was accepted but declined my WI seat (I am a WI resident). 21 year old female, 3 years of undergrad at UW, 3.9 cum GPA, 4.0 prereq GPA (was a 3.9 for other schools), 1300 GRE (700Q, 600V), 800 vet hours at SA clinic, 100ish at time at LA clinics, 400 in mastitis/milk quality research, some other things.

I'd recommend searching for the "accepted applicant stats" and looking through that thread. There should be one for 2015, 2014, etc. It should help you get a better idea. UW does like non-trads. 🙂

Good luck!

I'm older than you and UMN c/o 2015. You can find my stats in the successful applicants thread. I don't think the acceptance criteria are any different IS/OOS, but maybe I am wrong or don't understand what you mean.

Also, you can get some stats from the UMN's 'profile of successful applicants' if you haven't already found that.

Best of luck. If you have any UMN-specific questions, feel free to PM or whatever.
