U of Washington or Wake Forest University?

Hi, I am thinking of doing pre med at either of these colleges and I want to ask which school allows for greater opportunities and resources to utilize for med school. It is a choice between these schools and Occidental college and Loyola Marymount university. Is the larger size of U of Washington a negative for it as compared to the smaller schools? How does the southern nature of Wake Forest University affect it? It is easy to get research at these universities? How is the city of Wale Forest?
