Anyone want to share their thoughts/knowledge on Wisc's categorical program? Living in madison? Any info would be helpful. THANKS!

I used to teach MCAT courses in Madison. The city is pretty awesome. I am really excited about this interview. If you are a midwesterner, I think you will like the city.

Not a midwesterner, Texan actually. I added the program late, so let's hope they give me a shot. Seems like a great place. However, looks like 95% of the people they take are midwesterners. We shall see....

You seem like a top 10 candidate, plus you are from texas. They may think you won't interview up here. OR, you probably haven't been reviewed yet. I bet it is the latter. I'm sure you will get your wisconsin invite soon.

Madison's a great city to live in, especially in the warm months. Very solid IM program too. I want to get out of the midwest for a change, but I'm still interviewing and will most likely rank, just not at the top...
