Hey I just got an interview at UAB on september 2. Anyone who has been through an interview here got any tips?

I had called them a couple of times to check on the status of my application, and then one day Cindy Edwards called me and told me that I had gotten an interview for September 2 at 11AM and that I would get more information in the mail soon.

It appears they mostly correspond through good ol' snail mail.

How long ago was your application 'complete?'

I'm am not totally sure, but I think it was on Monday Aug 10, and I was called on the 14

Guess that means I should call!! Thats weird you have an interview on a Wednesday.

UAB gave me a call to inform me of an invitation to interview on Sept. 9th. So, make sure you can answer your home phone, because that's where they call first.

UAB interviews are always on Wednesday. Dr. Filler does an amazing job at putting you at ease. Before actually going into the interview, he will tell you not to be nervous and that the interviewers just want to get to know you. They won't ask you any hard questions; the interview is really a low stress one!
