UAB Reapplicants

Does anyone know if UAB will not look at your file if you're a reapplicant until late in the season? Based on last years thread that seemed to be what happened and I just want to make sure.

Reapplicant (like me) applications are not reviewed until January. I had my interview in late February 2013 and was accepted in April.
