Hi

I also got the interview invitation form UB school but I am very confused as to what Iam supposed to do about the financial form.
May be we all should write to the school telling how difficult it is to find anybody/organization ready to sanction 137k$ with out even a college seat.
Any body any ideas please share.

I also got interview from buffalo, any idea which typodont they want and do we need to do practical with manquin or we can hold it in hand as of USC. Thank you

I think you guys should get together and collectively or individually write to the Program Director that it is highly unlikely for a sponsor to have such a huge amount in the form of liquid assets and that no bank is going to approve your loan this early in the admission cycle and that to without an acceptance. The Admissions Committee seems to have no knowledge of this issue. So let them know IN WRITING that this is not possible and is not the norm in any school. I am sure is all of you convey this to them, they will waive off the requirement. One of my friends already did this but did not get any positive response from the School but all of you doing it would definitely help. Let me know if you need to get in touch with him and know what he did.

Congratulations....when did you get the call,was it today? If so that means they are still sending out invitations....

I heard that, we have to show them, we pay by so and so way and not that we should have that much amount right away. lets call them and find, what they exactly need. coz, no one will have that much money in their pockets nor any bank will approve without any acceptance. letter from the bank stating that they he/she will be receiving a loan
and the proper amount."

So, I think everyone should be fine with financial form now. Hope it helps!!👍

I think we don't need that, as for student loan we require "cosigner". still it's better to check with the authority or anyone who already checked it can guide!

I got rejection letter too today.. I'm kind of shocked.. I thought I had a good experience.. 10 yrs of practice in India.. Master's in Oral Surgery.. 3 yrs of teaching... I had a low NBDE part 1 score ( 84) and a TOEFL score 96... wonder wots the stats of those who got the call.. 🙁

Wow...your experience in the dental field seems to be really good which can make up for the nbde part 1 score.

hi all, i do not have any choice but still do not know if i should go to buffalo interview. flight, hotel are very expensive due to thanksgiving in addition to 1500$ for bench fee. it does not cofirm the seat even. weather is very harsh and the program is harsh and the most expensive in the country so far. i am not sure how can i afford all this. in addition, i heard that they are very strict in bench test criteria. it is all just disappointing to go there.

please advise, thanks.
