I've only taken a few classes at UC Berkeley and it was a mixture of great and not so great professors. In my opinion the ochem professor was absolutely amazing. It probably depends in the student...but I loved his teaching style. I had struggled w/ 1st semester ochem and then 2nd semester just clicked. He was a great teacher. On the other hand I haven't taken bio through the program, but did take physics and had horrible experiences in that subject. The teachers in both lab and lectures were just awful and most of the class seemed to be struggling.
