UCBSO LOR Requirements

I was just wondering if anyone knows what the LOR requirements for UCBSO are. I tried looking at the website but I couldn't find any information besides:

They require three LOR. One from a professor, one from an Optometrist, and the other is to your choosing, maybe someone you did some EC with. More info about those three letters is on OptomCAS.

The professor can be either one who has instructed a class you took or a professor you've done a favor for (say doing reserach for a PI in a research lab)

Also do you know if schools start accepting applications on July 15th? or if that's just when the new site will be ready? If I remember correctly UCBSO used to start accepting applications in late August/early September before the new system came out.

That is when the site will be ready. It all depends on the schools and when they decide to start reviewing apps, either on july 15th or sometime after. Some schools already have that info posted on their websites. Berkeley is updating the website, so they should have info on it soon.
