So it's come to understanding that UCI provides you with healthcare that covers appointments and prescriptions. Does that mean I get free apointments at the hospital as well as free meds?

I have allergies, asthma and some other problems so would I be able to get Allegra (allergy pills), fluticasone (nasal spray), and an albuterol for free or would I have to pay for those meds?

Keep in mind that for ALL insurances...covered DOES NOT EQUAL free.

You get appointments at the Student Health Center on main campus for a copay.

Your meds will be provided to you thru local pharmacies or mail order at copays that depend on the medicine.

I assume you mean the undergrad insurance which I am not super familiar with so I cannot tell you exact numbers. But either way - yes it will be covered but no it won't be free.
