UCLA or UCSD 3rd yr peds rotation?

I was wondering if any 3rd or 4th years who have done rotations at these hospitals could tell me a little bit about what it's like to really be on the pediatric floors at UCLA and/or UCSD's Children's hospital...what kinds of cases do you see? are the residents happy? Do you feel like there's enough exposure to complicated and/or bread and butter cases? Are the attendings accessible? You know, stuff like that. It's so hard to get a real feel for programs just based on one interview day. Thanks! 😀
