I've been accepted to the University of Maryland and UCLA dental school, and am not sure where to go.
Here is my reasoning:
UCLA is my dream school, and when I went to the interview, I found that it has amazing academics (and it's pass/fail!) and obviously leading research studies. LA is a great city, with lots to do, the only negative thing is traffic, and that's not a big deal.
Maryland attracts me because of its technology and the clinical opportunities I will get there. Because of the demographics of Baltimore, I feel that I might be able to see more trauma cases, etc. Plus, I get to take the boards after the first year.
I'm not sure where I want to practice as a dentist, so that's not really a factor at this point, but please put any feedback possible. Thanks for all of your help!

Ucla clincially is probably average to below average in all aspects. The only thing going for that school is the price tag and research.

Waaaa. This is a strong statement. Did/do you attend UCLA?

To PUJ – go to the cheapest school.

Both of the schools turn out to be almost identical in costs.
I'm from Florida.
I guess what I meant to say is that it has been my dream school, but after seeing University of Maryland, I'm not too sure that UCLA will be better in preparing me as a dentist (as far as clinical experiences are concerned).
Thanks for the feedback everybody.
