Hi everyone.
Is anyone applying for UCLA preceptorship starting in 2017 ? Is it competitive to get into restorative program ?
as they are taking only 16 students. I have applied in restorative only Should i apply in other preceptorship programs as well such ACT.
I hope some one can reply who did preceptorship or applied there
Thanks

It is really competitive. No harm in applying in other courses also. To be on safer side. And they don't accept all 16 into 2 years program. Only a few. Some get accepted in the 1 year program too out of those 16.

Thanks for replying. Oh I didn't think it would be hard to get into preceptorship program. Any way do you know any other program among preceptorships that allow you to work on mannequins. I don't want to get into "just observe program"

Preceptorship is mostly observership. So ACT and fellowship are just about only choices which have clinical component

hey, just out of curiosity did these courses help to apply for specialty/residency in the us for ftd?

There is no guarantee. But in my opinion they will strenghten your resume for aegd or residencies.
