For those of you who have done the UCLA supplemental application. There is an optional question that asks to address anything that will not make sense to adcoms. Should I talk about my 15 QR score on my DAT's????? What do you guys think...is it worth to address that because the rest of my scores are good and when I asked them that they had cut-offs they said no but anything lower than 17 will raise an eyebrow, so maybe explain it so the eyebrow doesnt raise as high???? is it worth it or just dont even do it??? THANKS

anyones opinions would help, thanks

What would you tell them? Would you say that you are actually good at math, but QR section is poorly designed? I don't think they will like that kind of explanation. I think you shouldn't talk about it unless you have a really good reason like an earthquake during the section. 👍

Personally, I would try to come up with any reason to explain it...but then take a step back and look at what you wrote from another point of view...it might seem like ab ad reason.
Only thing I could think of is to say that you can rock college math classes and that could be proved by your grades.

good luck osims
