Does graduating from UCLA undergrad give you a better opportunity to get into the dental school? Would I have preference over other applicants that did not graduate from UCLA for undergrad?

Can I see where you are getting your information?

Wow, this one is just going to turn into a flame war.

Use the search feature, you'll find many similar threads.

BTW, no.

I like how people just say "no" without showing where they get their information from haha

If you go to UCLA and you are not highly involved with the dental school, my GUESS is that they would be like...okay, he/she is great...but why haven't they made an impression on us as of yet? So, in that case, it could be slightly easier to go to another school. That's just one perspective, just a thought.

According to the Chair of Admissions, you will not get "preference" as a UCLA undergrad.

One thing that UCLA students have going for them is that they can receive a 4.33 GPA grade.
