Done lots of searching on this one; can't find an answer to it.

It says :

"It is not necessary or required to supply information in all sections."

Is that true? Or is this more like BU's "optional" essay; optional, meaning do it.

I think I'm going to try and fill out 7 out of the 9 fields. Did anyone call about this?

Thanks!

There was a thread on this a while back, but the conclusion is that if you don't have something meaningful to talk about in a particular section (some people may not have something to talk about in the awards essay, etc.), it would be better for you to not BS the essay and leave it blank.

I agree. If you don't have anything substantial to say for one of the essay prompts, don't BS it. Swallow your pride and pass. As for myself, I guess I'm both fortunate and unfortunate that I have something decent to say for all 9 prompts. Heck, I'm just happy I got a UCLA secondary as an OOS applicant. 😉
