didn't get a response from ucla admissions, i'm sure they're overloaded right now.......
if we can get a letter from faculty advisor/sponsor (section 7), can we have them mail it separately to the office of admissions? i think it carries more weight if its in a sealed envelope instead of attached to my app.
also, same question for high school transcript; with app or mailed separately to ucla admissions?
thanks

Here is what the email I received from UCLA said:
Please submit the following items to the address listed at the top of this message to complete your file:

3) Official undergraduate transcripts from schools where you completed prerequisites. A separate set of transcripts must be mailed directly to our office in addition to the copies submitted to AADSAS. Transcripts may be sent by the registrar's office or with the secondary application only if they are in sealed envelopes.

Include sealed envelopes with your secondary if it won't delay submission of your secondary, otherwise, I suggest you have them mailed separately. I think this would apply to all official correspondence (transcripts, LORs, etc.).

Good luck.

Brian

wow, i definitely read over that sentence, thanks.
how about the letter from faculty if you did research?

My application was mailed out two weeks ago, and I have not heard from them yet.I just called UCLA admisions to see if they have recieved my AADSAS application, and the lady on the phone said, "I have not been in the office for two weeks", and I was like "What have you been doing then?" Geeeeee
Can you guys provide me with the link to the UCLA secondary, so that I can start it ASAP. Thanks.

I would follow the same instructions: either have the professor send out a letter separately or include a sealed letter with your secondary.

It is right on the UCLA Dentistry website.
Go to the UCLA Dentistry website -> Admissions -> 4 year DDS program -> Personal History Form
Be prepared for a shock! It is long! Fortunately, most of it is a repeat of AADSAS info.
