For those of you answering the question regarding research, how in depth should we go about our projects? Brief overview of our objective and findings, or more in depth (i.e. materials and methods).

Brief overview and findings.

Not enough space to go into depth. I just attached my publication and gave kind of like a brief overview.

I am not sure how they open the PDF so I just kept everything within the spaces provided.

If you have any poster or presentation material you might want to attach it to the app...definitely talk to them before sending in such stuff though!

I had one line mentioning my specific project. Prompt does not ask to describe your project.

do what you want with your "final draft" but i wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt get read. the process of getting published can be more rigorous than obtaining the results in the first place.

As happy as you may be with that strategy, I would be very, very cautious in asking others to employ it.

@ Klee: Attach it but like UCLAzy said, don't expect people to have read it or considered it in the same regard as a publication. Peer-review is a b-word and to get your paper through that is the accomplishment that makes people take notice. Honestly though, I feel even for my paper the adcom might not read and analyze it, but it probably adds some research cred.

Not asking anyone to employ it. Just stating what I did, and what I see.
