Yes it is. I called and verified, Noemi told me that if there is anything that is not in your personal then write it down, such as things that have happened after submitting your application, etc.
She also informed me that it is not a good idea to talk about a hardship that you have written down say in your personal. Many times the admissions people read, then to find out that it says the same thing as your personal, just wanted to throw that out there.
