Where did all of you live for your first year? I recently applied for a place in Weyburn Terrace. Any other recommendations? off campus preferrably

The library?

jk, I live across married couple housing and took the bus/drive since 1st year. Weyburn is a good choice though. Check out the apartments on Tiverton, but they are quite pricy.

if you can get into weyburn you should take it. it's cheap, nice, and close. you can't beat that. i'd like to live there but didn't get off the waitlist in time. other university housing options are good too. they're in palms though, which is about a 15 minute drive w/o traffic and maybe 30 with traffic. there's a free UCLA shuttle that picks up people from all the university apts. and takes them to UCLA. private housing can be good, but you have to search for the right place. you could live in westwood, weho, brentwood, west LA, palms, or santa monica and still be pretty close to school.
