Hi,

I took online/web based psych 101 last year and was not aware of these schools requiring it in person. My question is; should I retake the course in person, or should I do an upperdivision course in psych.. like developmental psych?

they require introductory psych.. what would they think of upperdivison??

Thanks

They take upper level courses as replacement. I know that for sure, because the only psych course I took was a 400's level course.

i took upper division psyc too, but i wasn't sure if it counts for their requirement, so i'm taking another intro level psyc class just to be safe.

so i shoulod take psych 101 again in person?

why not just call both schools and ask?

I checked with UCSF and been told that AP course should be ok, so I would think that online course would be ok too.

I have not checked with UCLA yet.

I would suggest you to email them instead of remain in doubt. They usually reply in a day or two.

For those of you who were wondering, UCSF said they need Intro to psychology and not an upper division course:idea:

I'm not applying to UCSF but I thought I can chime in:
I got the AP credits to transfer but instead of taking the intro course basically again, I just took an upper level course to make sure the DS prereq is completed.
