  1. Pre-Dental
Please don't misunderstand me, by no means am I saying that I will get into all these schools, but in my fantasies, i can do whatever I want 🙂. So, if anyone of you got into all three of these schools (UCLA, UCSF, UW), then where would you go and why? Let's just say that I'm keeping my options open for specialty.

UCSF
its the best. ask any dentist. its the best in any health related program.

its all opinion and its impossible to say unless you've attended all of them. all three are great schools. and i doubt every dentist will agree on ucsf

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed! Haha. It would be a tough call for me, but I think I would pick based on location. Bad idea? Maybe. Anyway, I'd roll with UCSF.

UCSF...I'm a resident of CA.

Also, I don't like LA all that much...the city...not necessarily the school. You have to consider the city you live in cause, unless you're a nut, you will have free time now and then and you better like where you live.

At the risk of sounding foolish, I would like to go to a school that's in a place where I have a chance to meet people. Anyway, I just looked up some demographics. Seattle is 13.1% Asian, SF is 30.8%, and LA is 10%. I know which city I'd like to be in. Now who knows if UCSF will give me an interview, but UoP already has and that's good enough for me. 😀

You asian or just a guy who simply likes asian hotties?

Don't worry man, I'm good for it. Half Chinese, half Mexican. Wait on second thought, maybe that means LA would be better . . . Asian peoples + fine Mexican food? LOL. 😉

why not UCLA

hmm... not ucla b/c it's based on competency. being in a bousie (looks like it's spelled wrong) area, it's really hard to get patients. they have great board results, though. plus the area is ridiculously expensive. I paid close to 600 while sharing a room. plus we had 4!!!!! cars and 2 spaces. which means an extra 200+ a month for parking. of course it's 50 a month if u divide that by 4, but still. you get such a better deal even at la jolla (UCSD). but dont let what i say affect your decision. EVERY dental school is accredited by the ADA, which means that ALL of them spit out competent dentists. it's a matter of what criteria you're looking for in a dental school. as for me, i really really really liked UNLV. i loved the fact taht you're carrying 80 textbooks in a laptop. that's FANTASTIC. plus the laptops have search engines making flipping through 80 books A LOT quicker. =P plus, their faculty and student body were more than helpful... more than friendly. it's a great environment to be in especially during the 4 yrs of intense work.
