Your stats are good - but it is late in the cycle. I really don't think that your QR score will affect you very much. I know someone who had a QR score of 14 or 15 and still got interviews to all the top programs (Penn, Columbia, UCLA, UCSF, etc.). However, this person's overall stats are a bit higher than yours. Do you have anything (research, community service, leadership exp., etc.) that makes you stand out?

i been volunteering, part of clubs, dental office, mobile clinic, volunteer in religous groups....

but the prob was that i took my DAT
around november and my 2ndry went in on
dec.

If you still haven't got your interview, then it is not a good sign. Your stats are good, but we never really know exactly what these dentals schools are looking for.

I understand that it could be an anxious period that is full of confusion, but be sure to take care of yourself during this process and try to find clarity whenever you are able to.

How are your other dental schools fairing? What are your plans?

If you go to www.predents.com you can scope out the competition from SDN.

did you fax a copy of your scores to UCLA as soon as you took your second DAT? Ask if you can send in extra recc. letters. Also update your file if you have done extra stuff since you applied (research, new leadership positions, aced upper div. science classes, etc.) I would try to be super proactive at this point of the game.

It seems pretty solid to me - but it depends on the strength of your overall application (research, comm service, leadership, diversity, etc.)

i would say...bug them, contact them, make them pull out your file, b/c at least that means it has not been put away! like one SDN'er said...be pro-active at this rate! REALLY GOOD STATS THOUGH! Keep us posted if you hear any good news. Good luck!

i fully agree!!!

i bugged them on a weekly basis. Noemi knew me on a first name basis. it worked for me. As long as you are respectful it can't hurt.

get another letter of rec and send it to them, or if you are near by stop by the office and drop it off.

if you are currenty taking a class or classes write an email or letter to Noemi and tell her how well you are doing.

send an email explaining why you want to go to ucal and why they should take you.

here are some ideas that will make you stand out and show your determination.
