I applied to UCLA and UCSF (who knows if I'll get accepted into either, but...) and I've been hearing that if you go to UCLA, it's very hard to find patients because of the rich/wealthy demographic. Can anyone confirm this, I'm not from LA. Also, does UCSF have a problem with finding patients too?

last question: Do both schools use the Pass/Fail curriculum?

i volunteer at the ucla dental clinic, and yea they have a tough time finding patients bc the school is not in downtown LA but rather in westwood.

UCSF is pretty ghetto and in a pretty beaten up part of town, so they tend to not have a problem with patients, or so i've heard. I've seen ucsf and honestly...i'm suprised i wasn't mugged, shot, or rapped

rapped = raped

Yes. I hear the same from a dental graduate's parent.
