Just wondering if anyone knows what the status is with UCLA and interviews? I know some interviews have been given out already, based on forum posts here and on predents.com, however predents only lists 5 people as having interviews and there weren't that many people reporting on it on here either. I know not all people use SDN or predents, but still, I figured there would be more buzz about UCLA invites than what I have seen thus far. At the same time it seems quite late to just start handing out interviews now. Does anyone know if they are done with interviews?

don't worry. ucla is slow. they give out invites till late march/early april. good luck!

Interviews have started. Saw a few people interview a few weeks ago... expect the majority of invites to be sent post-December.

If someone applied there in the first batch and hasn't heard anything since, is it basically a silent rejection? I know they say they interview through March, but does that really apply to even those who submitted their app and secondary super early?

yeah unfortunately i would have to think if you haven't heard back by now it probably means you will not get an invite...

I assumed the same thing, I had been accepted to 4 other schools Dec 1. I heard from UCLA last week and am interviewing Friday. Don't give up hope if UCLA is somewhere you really want to go.

Pretty sure next Friday is the last intervew day for Ucla. That's what they said last week, unless something changes and they need to fill their class is assume.

Oh, really? Hm.. ok, 'cause I was in communication with someone in admissions who said that interview invitations will be emailed through March (this conversation was back in mid-January).
