hi,
as for the written exam, i am not preparing at all. i am just depending on my memory from dental school and little on my part 2 that i took last year!! but if u want to prepare, u can go thru the part 2 decks.. i dont have them as such.

Does anyone know how old UCLA's program is. Isn't it pretty new? I spoke to a friend of mine who is in the regular program, second year, and she said that she wasn't too impressed with the program. If she had known, she would have gone to UCSF or some other school. Does anyone know about any students there that have anything to sayabout the program?

This is I got from UCLA back on Sept:
But at least for the regular DDS class, UCLA is a pretty good school and quite picky too, so I'll assume for the IDP they'll close to the same.
This is only our 3rd admissions process, unfortunately at this time we do not have statistics available to the public. -Our selection process is done by a committee of four, each member values areas differently, which means that our main focus is not base only based on scores.

How are u preparing for the practical exam, is anyone practising lab work and wax pattern? also, they have mentioned that they will provide the instruments. Do u still think we should take any of our instruments? like burs, handpiece?
also, does anyone know how is the practical test and what is usually asked in it. is the written test tough? probably if someone knows a friend who is currently in the program, he/she can answer.
