does anybody have any advice or pros and cons for these two schools (uconn and umdnj)? i have narrowed it down to these two and dont know which to choose. I hear uconn has a really hard program, how hard is it really and can you get good clinical work at that school. if anybody has any insightful words on any of these two schools please advise.

well do you want to be in new england or near nyc? personally, i've lived in western mass for all four years and am ready for a different scene. (i'm going to umdnj)

ask yourself which has a bigger class size and does size matter to you?

do you want to be taking courses with med students or dent students only?

which school would offer cheaper tuition?

i say the less debt you accrue, the better. just my 2 cents

If you want to be a general dentist UMDNJ is the place to go, the clinical experience is very good, I will be graduating this may (I hope)...From what I hear UConn is a very outstanding dental school and if you wish to specialize that may be where you should go. Tuition wise I think UConn would be cheaper. As far as hard or easy the first two years of any dental school are very hard, including UMDNJ. Good luck

I am still trying to decide between UCONN and UMDNJ...what did u choose? Take a look at my thread.
