Uconn concerns:
Would live with parents- Maybe bad for social life? Maybe hard to concentrate on studies with 2 siblings around?
Want to match ortho, potentially less chance/research opportunities?
Not as prestigious in NE as tufts.

Tufts concerns:
220k more in COA, though recently I learned my grandparents would contribute for most all of it.
However the high cost stresses me just thinking about it. I often just see myself as a liability to my parents as I haven't earned any money yet (gap year was part time minimum wage scribing).
MBA is interesting to me and tied well into healthcare, but sdn wisdom advises heavily against any low tier mba.
Perhaps would feel pressured to go for a competitive specialty.
Traffic/commute stresses me out. Uconn is a 5 minute drive from my house.

Open to any insights. TY

Uconn, and live away from home with the rest of the students. Also you need to submit decision asap before both schools cancel your acceptance

If you're grandparents are gonna pay for it you'll be very glad to be going to school in Boston and youll be close enough to still visit family whenever you would like. If you like ortho, tufts matched 10 people into ortho this past year including people at Columbia and MGH

True I should move out. Was actually just taken off the waitlist at Uconn so I have a few days.

I did see that. UConn also matched some at Columbia last year. Both still just about 5-6% of class going into ortho.

you seem to like tufts more but the money is the thing holding you back, Will your grand parents willing to give you access to that money other than for school ? If not I would go to tufts
