For people who are fortunate to accept UCSD's admission offer, how are you planning to live there for the next acadmic year? It seems that the UCSD-affiliated housing is super-competive to get in (waitlist 1-3years). Does UCSD help its pharm students match with each other as potential roommates? Thanks and hope to see you all next year. :luck:

UCSD does have a housing website where people can post rooms/apts for off-campus housing.

There are plenty of apt complexes such as Costa Verde, La Regencia, La Scala, Canyon Park, etc... All these places are close to campus; some even closer than on-campus housing. But just to warn you, many apt places are converting to condos.

i've heard from current ucsd pharm students that it doesn't take as long as they say, especially for the single graduate apartments. they said that it took about 9 months for their apartment, which is still a hefty wait, but not too bad.

also, i think to access the posts you need a current, working student pid and last name unless you go email or fax them. if you have a friend at ucsd now tho, it would probably be easier just to ask to borrow theirs.

congrats! my sis goes to ucsd for her undergrad studies. housing shouldn't be a big problem. good luck!
