What's up people,
Anyone that interviewed at UCSD get a phone call or email today (1/19) about an acceptance? (I think the committee met yesterday).

Or, is there now a date for "Final Decision Letter Sent" for people that have either already interviewed or have been waitlisted? When did u all interview...

yea, i was wondering why havent heard yet either. i interviewed in early jan and the person said to us that as long as our interviewers turned our evaluations in by the date of the meeting, then we would be hearing.

same here, but it seems like nobody has heard anything...anyone?

if your status doesn't change after the day they meet following your interview, it means you got put in the acceptable pool (or what is really the unacceptable pool otherwise they would've accepted you). that's what happened to me.

it doesnt show this on your status page? do they send you some letter explaining where you are?

if you look at their status page, they only have a field "final decision sent". if you're on the waitlist, they haven't yet made a final decision so it doesn't get updated to anything. on the other hand, they update it if you get accepted or rejected. call them and find out your status - they're quite nice about it.
