UCSD Supplemental Application

For those of you who applied, what happens when you try to log on to the supplemental application online (even after the deadline)? Last time I went back (after Nov. 1st) it still said "submit and continue" at the bottom of the page, but I was scared to see what would happen if I submitted it again.

So far USC and UCSD haven't updated anything on their website, but UCSF has.

No, I'm just saying that they didn't update their website saying "application period has been closed" blah blah blah. Things like that.

Yeah, I went back to the UCSD site on November 2 because I'd forgotten to print my finished application. I noticed a typo in my app., so I fixed it and resubmitted. I got the same e-mail about how you can keep going back to edit the application until November 1. Then, a couple days ago, I went back again and just out of curiosity tried to start a new application (using a phony e-mail address 😉 and I was able to start a new application. So I guess they just haven't updated their site. I'm not sure why not, or what will happen if you try to submit now that the deadline has passed.

If I recall correctly, I didn't really get any confirmation of receipt of application (unless you sent the hardcopy part using certified return receipt). For last year's application cycle, interview letters were sent out middle to late December and interviews were late January.

My check just got cashed today. I guess they got it. 🙂
