So, I'm looking for a little info on UCSD's ortho residency. It's a program that you don't hear much about and I'm not sure if that's a bad thing. So, if anyone has any insight into things such as:
How competitive is the program to get into?
Do they typically interview their away-ers? i.e. is it worthwhile to do an away rotation there?
What is the surgical experience like for residents? Is there plenty to go around, do you start operating early or late?
Is it a "malignant" program or are the residents pretty happy people?
Etc., Etc.
You know, that kind of info.
Thanks in advance,
SA
