I just called bob at sf and he said that admissions is meeting on friday the 22nd so some people could hear by monday possibly. He mentioned something about not a large amount of students being accepted next week. Then they are meeting on Feb 3rd. That's all I know. I didn't ask about waitlist exactly but I think he assumes I was since I interviewed in Nov. and haven't been rejected yet.

I had my interview Jan 7th and i got a call from Dean Featherstone this last sunday evening!! My friend had an interview today and they told her there were about 25 spots left.

Congrats!!! boy, I really would like to know my status at UCSF. Been waiting since the first week of Oct. I just wanna know at this point if I am accepted, denied, or waitlisted. Just give me something so I can have that monkey off my back.
Well... someone who interviewed on the 25th apparently got in as well. Tough pill to swallow, i know - i interviewed in early january as well. Next week on Feb 3rd, according to Bob, is when the committee convenes for the last time, so ...
Those people had stellar stats and that is probably why
If they have 25 spots left and only one mor group to interview then they'll take some "leftovers"
Probably - but the rather homogeneous list of accepted applicants on pre-dents (I know, not a completely representative sample) does weigh on the mind a bit.
I personally don't care if I'm considered 'leftovers'. I just want to be on that dinner menu.
