Does anyone know how long after the interview UCSF will deliberate (or sit on their duffs) before informing of an acceptance?

yea, at the interview they said about 8 weeks. you do also know that they start the acceptance from december, while waitlists/rejections start in january. so if you get a mail from UCSF (thick or thin envelope) don't be afraid, it is certainly an acceptance. 🙂

i am also waiting for good news from ucsf this month.

My Secondary was complete on 9/2, and I received an interview invitation on 10/6 (email). However, I imagine that the time betrween "application complete" and "interview invitation" will vary widely, probably between two weeks and three months.

It took about a month after being complete before I received my interview invite.

They start sending out acceptances mid-Dec. Acceptances then continue to come around the middle of each month. If you interviewed in mid-Nov or later, chances are very very slim that you'd hear anything before the end of this year. As somebody already said, it takes at least 8 weeks. I am anxiously waiting to hear back from them, though I'm sure it won't happen this month because I interviewed about 2 weeks ago.

I was interviewed on Nov. 2 and I'm hoping that I hear this month. Not likely, since it hasn't been 8 weeks. 🙁
