Just wonderin if anyone got off the alternate list at UCSF. Seems pretty quiet out there. I hope there will be some movement soon. 🙂

Man, I really hope there will be some movement soon, but as the days pass by I lose more and more hope. 🙁 Let's hope for a miracle to happen. 😀

does anyone know how UCSF notifies their decisions on the alternate list?
someone on another thread said that they were on the list and asked for transcripts to be sent.

I think by now they are only going to call people first before they send out acceptances. So you guys better keep those cell phones with you at all times. I know I will. 🙂

Today is one of the happiest days of my life. I just got pulled off the alternate list. I am so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so happy. 😀 😀 I hope you guys get that lucky call too. 🙂 🙂

Funny thing was that this morning I called them to check up on my status on the alternate list and they told me that there doesn't seem like there was that much movement. I really thought then that I might as well give up. Then all of a sudden at 3:55 pm they called me. Actually they left a message on my cell phone and I called them right back. I was so nervous because on the message they didn't say anything about offering me an acceptance, but when I called them back and they asked me if I was still interested in attending UCSF. Of course I said yeah and then they told me they'll said me a package this week. Seriously I felt as if it was a dream. I am really grateful for this and I am so happy. I really wish you all luck on the list. Don't give up hope. If I got in I am pretty sure there is still some movement. Come on UCSF show more people some love. 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀

I think that is a good sign b/c if they actually took the time to call you I think they will eventually give you a spot. I say try to call them again next week just to check up on your status. Then they'll really know that you want to go to UCSF. I really hope you get in. 😀 BTW, what school are you holding right now?

I got the "phone call" yesterday. I am very excited!! Just goes to show the possibility is still out there. Good luck everyone.
