Anyone know if their actually going to get letters out around the 15th?

I'm not absolutely sure but when I went for my interview back in mid-November, they said that will be sending out the first batch of acceptances on the 15th of this month. They added that very few people will actually be admitted in this cycle. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for all of us. Best of luck!

oops, i think my post was confusing ... i actually interviewed in early november and when i was there, the students told me that they pushed the first date of acceptances to january 15, because of all the confusion this year.

but, i called the office last week ... because i'm itching to hear .. and the lady in the office told me they were going to send out a small batch of acceptances on december 15th. she really made sure to emphasize the words "very small," so if we don't hear by this upcoming week, there is still LOTS of hope.

i hope some of us get a very nice christmas present in the form of an acceptance letter in the next few days. 😳 ) good luck!

Sooo.... its the BIG day.... 12/15 (eek, how did it get here so fast?) Anyone in northern CA hear from SF today??? I know, I know, anyone lucky enough to hear from SF is most likely way too busy bouncing off walls to post, but if anyone does hear, directly or through the "grapevine" please share the news!

12/15! Will probably take until around mid next week before those lucky few get the letters. Best of luck to all!

Don't get too stressed out if you get nothing. They told me it takes them 4-8 weeks to make a decision, so if you didn't interview before October 15th...it's possible you'll get nothing and it'll mean just that.

they're not mailing them out on december 15th. usually they do, but since december 15th is a saturday this year, they are mailing them out on monday, december 17th. that's what they said.

Hey Pillbug,

I applied MSTP and did my interviews on Nov 6 (MSTP) and Nov 8 (MD). During my interviews everyone told me not to expect anything until mid-January. Good luck.
