Hey guys,

So i just got a hold letter from UCSF. I am soo bummed but was kind of expecting it since i am out of state and my MCAT score isn't that good. However, does anyone know if they actually take people from the hold list? I also applied to JMP with Berkeley.

I know that there are other threads about this but i just couldn't find them with the search function. and i am just too frustrated to keep trying.

but i dont think they send letter for holds; i think its just a notification on their website but im not certain; im still under review

Oh but I got that letter. The website does not say.

Anyway I'll tell my story of one girl I met at an interview that says she got an interview from UCSF after being on hold for a couple weeks.

sorry guys, i meant pre-interview hold. thanks pinkertinkle, your story gives me a glimmer of hope, although searching through the threads it doesn't look good for pre-interview holds for UCSF.
