Hi guys. To those who just recently received their admissions packet, are you all applying to the Mission Bay Housing? Is that the best choice in terms of a place to live? Can anyone suggest a better place? Thanks!

yea i chose mission bay housing. My friend who goes to pharm school there said she liked mission bay housing. there's a shuttle that will take you to and from the housing to campus. I heard the housing complex is pretty new too. See you there!

I applied to Mission Bay myself but would much rather be closer to campus. If you have a kid, married or not, you can go to Aldea, which is on the mountain that UCSF is at the bottom of.

Right now I'm thinking of joining Psi Omega and may live in the frat house (right around the corner of UCSF) or maybe rent a room from someone near campus and walk/ride a bike to school.

My situation is a bit differnet then most because I currentlly live in the east bay and will use BART to go "home" on weekends.

I'll take all my classmates to the East Bay to party. I've been a bartender in several east bay bars for the last 10 years so I can dial us in!!!

I used to live in Alameda a long a$$ time ago. I was in the Navy and stationed there. When I got out I lived on Shoreline Dr for about a year.

Since then I've been living in Walnut Creek and Concord. The bars I've bartended in (and still do) are Crogan's and Dan's Bar. Come on down for a drink!!!
